From Geneva Airport, Verbier is about 160 km, roughly a two-hour drive along Lake Geneva and up through the Rhone valley. Your chauffeur meets you in arrivals, handles the luggage, and takes you door-to-door to your chalet or hotel.
The journey
The route runs south on the A1/A9 motorway past Lausanne and Montreux, follows the Rhone valley to Martigny, then climbs above the valley through Le Chable into Verbier. On a clear day it is around 1 h 50; on peak winter Saturdays or after fresh snow, allow a little more.
Why a private transfer
By train you would change at Martigny and Le Chable and finish on a gondola, awkward with ski bags and children. A private car is direct and door-to-door: no queues, no connections, winter-equipped vehicles and drivers who know the road.
Good to know
The whole route is within Switzerland (canton Valais), no border crossing. Le Chable is the valley station about 10 minutes below Verbier, and we drive all the way up. Verbier anchors the 4 Vallees, Switzerland's largest ski area (410 km of pistes).
