Annecy is the quickest of our alpine runs, about 42 km, roughly 40 minutes by road via the A41. Unlike the ski resorts, Annecy is a year-round destination: a medieval old town of canals and pastel facades on the shore of one of Europe's clearest lakes, framed by mountains.

French border, carry ID. Annecy shines in summer (swimming, paddleboarding, paragliding) as much as in the shoulder seasons. Ski areas such as La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand are a further 30-40 minutes away.
